If your car's damaged in an accident or through vandalism, we'll arrange to have it fixed and guarantee the work for up to three years. If we can't fix it, we'll either pay to replace it or pay you cash up to its market value.
Loss or theft of your car
If your car's lost or stolen, we'll either pay to replace it or pay you cash up to its market value.
New car replacement
We will replace your car with a new one of the same make model and specification if your car is damaged beyond economical repair or stolen and not recovered and you bought your car from new within the past 12 months.
Car Recovery and approved repair
If you have been in an accident and your car cannot be driven we will recover your car and take it to one of our approved repairers. We will also take you and your passengers home.
If you have child seat(s) fitted in your car at the time it’s involved in an accident or damaged following fire or theft, we’ll pay for the cost of replacement even if there is no apparent damage.
A courtesy car is provided subject to availability to reduce your inconvenience and where possible ensure you remain mobile.
A courtesy car will only be provided when your claim has been accepted and your car is repairable, and is being repaired by our approved repairer network.
A courtesy car is typically a small three door hatchback car with an engine size of 1 litre.
If your car is immobile or unroadworthy we aim to provide a courtesy car within one working day.
Automatic courtesy cars can be supplied, providing the car being repaired is an automatic.
We don't provide a courtesy car outside Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
We don’t provide a courtesy car in the event your car is written off or stolen.
Third-party damage or injury
We'll cover you for:
your legal liability for death or injury to a third party
your legal liability for third party property up to £20,000,000
any legal defence representation costs incurred with our consent in connection with a claim against your policy up to a limit of £5,000,000.
If your car's damaged by fire, we'll arrange to get it fixed if possible. If it's not fixable, we'll either pay to replace it or pay you cash up to its market value.
We’ll cover damage to or theft for audio equipment either up to £500 or £1000 depending on your policy, please check your policy schedule for details on your cover limit.
Third-party cover for other cars
We'll cover you to drive other people's cars, as long as you have their permission and you're over 25.
Personal belongings cover
If you are claiming for damage to or theft of your car, we'll also provide cover for up to £150 of personal belongings such as handbags or sunglasses.
Glass repair or replacement
If you have a damaged window, windscreen or sunroof, we'll repair it (£10 excess) or replace it (£115 excess) and if you use one of our approved repairers the most we will pay will be the market value of your car at the time of the loss. If you use one of your own repairers the claim will be limited to £50.
We provide a fully comprehensive cover when you travel abroad to any of the following European countries if your trip's less than 90 days.
Republic of Ireland, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (including Monaco), Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy (including San Marino and the Vatican City), Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland (including Liechtenstein).
Motor legal services
Legal advice and expenses if you are hit by an uninsured driver or you are prosecuted for a motoring offence.
If you are involved in a motoring accident which is not your fault, we will cover up to £100,000 legal costs for a lawyer to pursue appropriate compensation from the driver who is to blame.* We will also pay your legal costs should your claim not be successful.

Loss, theft, fire and flood damage
If your car’s lost or stolen, or we’re unable to fix it for you following fire or flood damage, we’ll pay you a cash amount equal to the loss or damage. The most we will pay is the market value of your car.
24-hour emergency support
If you have an accident, we'll send someone out to either fix your car or take it to one of our approved garages.
Personal Accident Cover
This cover is included as standard and provides £2,500 for you and your partner for serious injury or death following a motor accident.
If your ignition keys are lost or stolen we’ll pay the cost of replacing the affected locks, lock transmitter and central locking interface and affected parts of the alarm and/or immobiliser.
